Behavior Intervention – Design (BID)
Assessment & Planning by BCBAs
Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) conduct functional behavior assessments, develop individualized behavior intervention plans, and consult directly with IEP teams. Every plan is data-driven and tied to the student's IEP goals, with ongoing review and revision as the student progresses.
Behavior Intervention – Implementation (BII)
Direct Support Where Students Learn
Trained behavior technicians deliver direct 1:1 support, skill acquisition, and behavioral intervention under BCBA supervision — in the classroom, at our certified Arcata center, or in the community. Services follow the student's IEP with daily data collection and progress reporting to the IEP team.
How Placement Works
Partnering with Districts & SELPAs
School districts and SELPAs contract with Pillar 5 through a master contract and individual services agreement, as provided under California Education Code Section 56366. Students are referred by their IEP team, and services are delivered per each student's IEP — with data-driven progress reporting throughout. We operate within the Humboldt–Del Norte SELPA.
